The Trx is a great tool for body weight training and core training, and Trx push ups are a great way to strengthen your core and your arms at the same time.
There are hundreds of ways to do push ups, and the trx is another tool that you can use to spice up your push ups.
When your feet are in a trx, you will have much less stability, so your core muscles and arm muscles will work much harder than they will during a regular traditional push up.

Starting Position: Begin by putting your feet in the trx straps, then move into the plank position. Make sure that your hands are directly underneath your shoulders and do your best to keep your body parallel to the floor.
Your hands should be slightly wider than shoulder width.
Form: Inhale and slowly lower your chest towards the floor. Pause for a second at the bottom and then exhale and push yourself back up to the starting position.
Personal Trainer Tips: Lower back position is important during this exercise. Make sure you keep your core muscles engaged so that your back does not arch excessively.
You should also keep your quads engaged so that your knees stay straight throughout the exercise.
Keep your neck in good alignment with your spine and make sure that you breathe during each rep.
If you have a workout partner to personal trainer, it may help if they hold the straps to help you get your feet secured. If you don't have a workout partner, it may take a little practice to learn how to get into this exercise by yourself.
To set up by yourself, place one foot in while your other knee is on the floor, then use one hand to assist getting your second foot in place.
The Trx suspension system is a great tool for bodyweight exercises, and it will help to strengthen both your arms and your core muscles.
A great thing about the trx is that it is light weight and portable, so you can use it at home or take it with you for an outdoor workout.
