Tricep Exercise Resistance Band Exercises
Here is a simple tricep exercise that you can do with resistance bands to help tone flabby arms. Resistance bands are lightweight and portable, so you can use them almost anywhere. Also, resistance bands offer a different workout than dumbbells, barbells, machines, cables or bodyweight exercises, so resistance band exercises can add a new element to your arm workout. Resistance Band Exercises: Tricep ExtensionsStarting Position: Begin by securing the resistance band so that it is in front of you. Bend your knees slightly, hinge forwards from your hips, and keep you lower back in a neutral position (not too arched and not too rounded). At the start your palms can face each other or face the floor. Form: Exhale and straighten your arms. As you straighten your arms, rotate your palms so that they are facing up. Hold for a brief second, and then slowly return to the starting position. Personal Trainer Tips: You can do this exercise from a variety of positions, from standing straight up to hinging all the way to 90 degrees at the hips. Always use a position that feels comfortable and allows you to maintain good posture around your lower back. You can work your triceps with many different tools like dumbbells or machines.
